Coolpad Mega 4A and Coolpad A1 launched in India as offline exclusive, Check for features, price and availability

Coolpad has recently launched two offline exclusive smartphones in India. These two models are named as Coolpad A1 and Coolpad Mega 4A. These phones adjust themselves into lower price segment as priced at Rs.5,499 and Rs.4,299 respectively. The company is aiming to tap offline market of India with their latest offerings. The latter of two was teased along side launch of Coolpad Cool Play 6 smartphone which was launched back in June, 2017 but it could not get official status for a longer time due to unspecified reasons.

Commenting on the launch, Syed Tajuddin, CEO, Coolpad India said through a statement that;

“In an effort to make some formidable presence in the offline market in India, we are looking forward to introducing some strongly competitive offline exclusive devices Coolpad A1 and Coolpad Mega 4A one of them. The device will offer a good value proposition to the customers and comes with all features to handle the task with absolute efficiency. We are also planning to introduce few more aggressive offline devices in next 2-3 months, in order make an expansion in the offline market through our retails partners and multi-brand outlets. We are expecting that Coolpad will be able to make a strong presence in the offline market by the end of 2018.”

Coolpad A1 and Coolpad Mega 4A Features, Price and availability in India

The first offline exclusive offering Coolpad A1 sports a 5-inch HD display with 720 x 1280 pixels screen resolution. It runs Android 7.1 Nougat and support Dual SIMs. It is powered with Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 quad-core processor clocked at maximum 1.1GHz speed. Coolpad A1 is presented with 2GB RAM coupled with 16GB internal storage, which can be increased up to 64GB with microSD cards.

The smartphone features 8 megapixel shooter on rear panel supported with LED flash along with a 5 megapixel front shooter for capturing selfies. It has a 2500mAh capacity battery under the hood, which is claimed to provide 240 hours of standby time in a single charge. The connectivity features includes 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS and A-GPS.

The Coolpad A1 comes at a price of Rs.5,499 in India and will be available for purchase through various retail stores across the geographical boundary of the country starting from 12th April.

The second offering, Coolpad Mega 4A which is an entry-level smartphone runs Android 7.0 Nougat. It has a 5.0-inch HD display with 720 x 1280 pixels resolution. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core Spreadtrum SC9832 processor. Handset is said to come with 1GB RAM and 16GB onboard storage, which is further expandable up to 32GB with memory cards.

Coolpad Mega 4A launched

In terms of camera intels, it features 5 megapixel rear camera sensor and 2 megapixel image sensor. It is charged up with a 2000mAh battery which is said to provide 150 hours of standby time.

The Coolpad Mega 4A price in India is set at Rs.4,299 only. It will be available in Gold colour across offline channels from Thursday, 12th April.
