A series of leaks followed by a confirmed news from South Korean Electronic news website, ETnews that says Samsung is going to announce Galaxy A8 2018 and Galaxy A8 Plus in January, 2018 through Consumer Electronic Show (CES). Devices will be accompanied by LG K10 (2018) launch as well.
Few days back, a video revealed all the specifications and hands on review of Galaxy A8+ 2018 but that video is called off the by the user. Galaxy A8 and A8 Plus likely to feature bezel-less display with 18:9 aspect ratio. Both variants will see few differences among each other on the basis of specifications. Like, A8 2018 is likely to feature 5.5-inch infinity edge display while A8+ is said to feature a large 6-inch infinity edge display. No Bixby button this time on both the devices.
Both A8 and A8+ likely to be powered by company’s very own octa-core Exynos 7885 chipset where 2 cores are clocked at 2.2 GHz and other six cores are clocked at 1.6 GHz. Chipset is further coupled by 4GB + 64GB storage and A8+ might feature 128GB variant. Talking about cameras, these sports a dual selfie shooter with one lens of 16MP, f/1.9 aperture and other lens of 8MP with f/1.9 aperture. A rear camera of 16MP lens with f/1.7 aperture is likely to be packed into the smartphones. A battery of 3500 mAH should fuel the smartphones.
A8 (2018) and A8 Plus (2018) will support have back-mounted fingerprint sensors and supports Bixby and Samsung Pay, screen split view, pop up view, USB type C-port. No details are available on final sale and prices yet but both devices will be the first galaxies to be launched in year 2018. Both Samsung galaxies will launch on CES, 2018 slated to be held in next month and Galaxy S9 and S9+ should release in MWC, 2018 after company denies their launch in CES, 2018.
