Huawei came up with a affordable smartphone with dual camera setup known as Honor 7x. Smartphone was launched in India through a global event held at London alongside much famous Huawei Honor V10. Currently, smartphone is launched in two storage variants despite three in China. Only 32GB and 64GB versions makes their way to the Indian customers and third variant of 128GB is still on hold. Device will be Amazon exclusive and witness its first sale on 7 December.
Registration for the first flash sale is already open on Amazon India. 32GB version of Honor 7x will is priced at Rs.12,999 while the upper version of 64GB is priced at Rs.15,999 in India. Those who registers for the sale are eligible to win few gifts as offered by the company to promote the sales in the country. Device will be available in three hues – Black, Blue and Gold.
Features that draws one’s attention towards the Honor 7x are it’s dual cameras on the board and Full view display with 18:9 aspect ratio instead of traditional 16:9 aspect ratio. Dual cameras are not a new thing as every second smartphone that is launching now-a-days packs dual cameras into them. But providing dual cameras in low budget range is commendable effort by the Chinese company, Huawei and its sub-brand Honor. Dual cameras sensors got 16MP and 2MP lens with supportive features like Portrait mode and Phase Detection Auto Focus.
Other than these USPs of smartphone, it features a 5.93-inch Full HD+ and Full view display (with 18:9 wide view aspect ratio). Larger screen is fitted perfectly into smaller frames and phone fits perfectly in your hands. In simplest terms, you gets extra screen but no change in final size, thanks to vertical increments not wider. Honor 7x is powered by in-house chipset, HiSilicon Kirin 659 octa-core processor where 4 cores are clocked at speed of 2.36 GHz while the other 4 are clocked at 1.7 GHz providing smooth user experience. Apart from dual cameras at back, device also sports a 8 mega-pixel front camera sensor that product great selfies. To butter the performance of powerful processor, 4GB RAM is provided along with three storage variants of 32GB, 64GB and 128GB. However, latter variant is not yet released for Indian market.
Honor 7x was launched in London for Indian market. Another highlight of the event was launch of Honor V10 to global audiences which earlier launched for Chinese Market only. Pricing Honor 7x at lower prices, Huawei is looking to further penetrate Indian smartphone market and increase its user base in India.
