HTC U11 EYEs Launching on 15th Jan, Specs and price leaked

HTC is ready to launch a new smartphone on 15th January, 2018 as it has teased a post on Weibo asking users to ‘save the date’. The post also asked users to keep their eyes open. Alongside, a twitter user leaked the full specifications of a new HTC smartphone dubbed as U11 EYEs. If we combine both the hints, we can safely conclude that HTC U11 EYEs is going to be launched in China on Monday, 15th Jan.

According to Evan Blass, next HTC handset will be named as HTC U11 EYEs instead of Harmony. He also leaked key specifications of the device. If we go by the recent leak, it will sport a 6-inch Full HD+ Super LCD3 display with 2160 x 1080 pixels screen resolution. Display is expected to bear a trending 18:9 aspect ratio. Handset will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 octa-core processor and Adreno 510 GPU. According to the tweet, HTC U11 EYEs will offered with 4GB RAM paired with 64GB internal storage with a microSD card slot.

Evan Blass went on the leak few photos in various colour options such as Black, Silver and Red. Photos suggested a dual front camera setup and single snapper to the back side of the handset.Photos shows a fingerprint sensor on the back just below the snapper. Other leaked information include IP67 dust and water resistant build, Type-C USB port. HTC U11 EYEs will be fueled with a 3930mAH battery and runs Android Nougat with Edge Sense UI on the top.

In another tweet, Evan went on to leak the price of HTC U11 EYEs, it will bear a price tag of CNY 3,299 (approximately Rs. 32,400). Earlier, U11 EYEs was rumored as HTC Harmony. If all above leaks go as said, then HTC will launch U11 EYEs in China on Monday, 15th January, 2018. Exact specifications and more news to follow in couple of days after the official launch of smartphone.
