Huawei Enjoy 7s launched in China with Android Oreo

Chinese smartphone vendor, Huawei launched successor of Huawei Enjoy 6s smartphone in China on Tuesday. Successor is named as Huawei Enjoy 7s and ready for pre-orders on Vmall. Highlight of the smartphone is 5.65-inch FHD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio. It is a mid-budget offering from the company. Open sale will start from 22nd December, 2017. Last week company also announced Nova 2s smartphone with 4 cameras on the board.

Enjoy 7s launched in China – packs dual cameras and fingerprint sensor on the back, 18:9 aspect ratio display

The dual sim smartphone, Enjoy 7s runs on latest Android 8.0 Oreo with EMUI 8.0 skin on the top. It packs a 5.65-inch Full HD+ TFT display with 2160 x 1080 pixels screen resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. Display offers 427 PPI pixel density. Smartphone is backed by non-removable Li-Polymer 3000mAH battery and powered by HiSilicon Kirin 659 octa-core processor where four cores are clocked at 2.36GHz and other four cores are clocked at 1.7GHz speed. Processor is further souped up with 3GB/4GB RAM and clubbed with 32GB/64GB storage which can be expanded using hybrid slot.

Taking cameras into consideration, Huawei Enjoy 7s features a 13 mega-pixel + 2 mega-pixel dual rear camera with added LED flash and 8 mega-pixel front camera for selfies. Fingerprint sensor is mounted on the back side of the device. Dimensions of mobile phone are – 150.1 x 72.1 x 7.5 mm and weighs around 162g. On connectivity front, it has Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, VoLTE support, Bluetooth version 4.2, GPS and USB 2.0.

Availability in other countries is not announced yet. In China, Huawei Enjoy 7s is offered in four shades – Rose Gold, Black, Blue and Gold. Price of 3GB + 32GB is CNY 1,499 and 4GB + 64GB is CNY 1,699, if converted in Indian currency it roughly translates to Rs.14,999 and Rs.16,999 respectively. Pre-orders are live currently and company will start shipping of device from 22 Dec, 2017.
