Huawei’s sub-brand Honor has recently announced a low-end budget smartphone in China with interesting features like Dual rear camera setup, 18:9 aspect ratio display, Facial Unlock and twin stereo speakers. Named as Honor 7A, it will succeed the previously launched Honor 6A smartphone. 6A was never released in India but tech experts are assuming that latest edition might be unveiled in India in few weeks looking at the great response to company’s other handsets in the country.
The world’s third largest smartphone giant, has outed Huawei Honor 7A that will sport a 5.7-inch HD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio and 1440 x 720 pixels screen resolution. It runs Android 8.0 Oreo based EMUI 8.0 and supports dual SIMs. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 octa-core processor along with Adreno 505 GPU. It is presented in two variants of 2GB RAM coupled with 32GB internal storage and 3GB RAM along with same 32GB storage. The fingerprint sensor is present on the device’s back panel.
Honor 7A features a dual rear camera setup packing for 3GB RAM variant (2GB version lacks the dual camera). The dual rear camera features two lenses of 13 megapixel and 2 megapixel sensors on 3GB variant while 2GB variant got only single 13 megapixel image sensor with AI features. It also has a 8 megapixel selfie shooter attached for taking pro selfies. Smartphone supports facial unlock feature to allow access to your phone with face.
It packs a 3000mAh non-removable battery and phone measures 152.4 x 73 x 7.8 mm and weighs at 150 gram. It will be available in Platinum Gold, Black and Aurora Blue colour options.
The Huawei Honor 7A will go on sale starting from 3rd April in China. It’s 2GB RAM version comes at a price of CNY 799 (INR 7,999) while, 3GB RAM version bears a price value of CNY 999 (INR 9,999). It is expected to launch in India in few weeks.
