InFocus launched a new budget segment smartphone in India with a aggressive price tag of Rs.5,199. The InFocus A2 promises decent specifications at lower prices and likely to compete with the Xiaomi Redmi 5A. Handset will be available through offline channels in India, there is no time frame available regarding online availability in the country. The budget price is buttered with certain launch offers as well to enhance shopping experience of buyers.
The InFocus A2 sports a 5-inch HD IPS display with 720 x 1280 pixels screen resolution and protected with curved 2.5D glass. It runs Android Nougat v7.0 on customized UI 360. It possess a 1.3GHz Quad-core Spreadtrum SC9832 CPU paired with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. Handset features a 5 mega-pixel rear camera sensor supported with LED flash and supports multiple cool features like zero to seven beauty levels, innovative camera filters, pro mode and FaceCute feature. The rear camera is coupled with another 5 mega-pixel shooter on the front side supported with Slow-Mo Effect that allow users to slow down up to 2 times or three times.
The smartphone is powered with 2400mAH battery. It also lacks fingerprint sensor just like same budget segment phone, Xiaomi Redmi 5A. Connectivity features on InFocus A2 includes Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, FM radio, GPS, Micro-USB and 4G VoLTE support.
In terms of dimensions, it measures 143.9 x 71.7 x 8.9 mm. Handset comes in Black and Champagne Gold hues.

The InFocus A2 is launched to target offline purchasers as handset has made specific to offline stores only. It comes with a price tag of Rs.5,199 in India. Purchasing experience is enhanced with launch offers like Jio buyers will get additional up to 30GB 4G data and Mobikwik users making payment through their wallet will be entitled for additional Rs.300 cashback. There is no information available regarding online launch for the same. Speculations are already being made that device will get Android Oreo update soon, but we can’t confirm the news.
