American mobile manufacturer, Infocus offered a new low budget smartphone (Infocus Vision 3) through a special event held at New Delhi, India. Highlight of the smartphone is its 18:9 aspect ratio and dual rear cameras along with low price tag. Vision 3 is priced at Rs.6,999 and will be sold exclusively through Amazon India. First sale for the smartphone started from today i.e. 20th December, 2017.

Infocus Vision 3, a Dualfie smartphone as teased by the company packs a 5.7-inch HD+ IPS display with 1440 x 720 pixels screen resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. Display is provided with 2.5D curved glass as protection. The dual sim smartphone runs on Android 7.0 with Smile UX skin on the top. Device is backed by a MediaTek MTK6737H quad core processor clocked at 1.3 GHz. On storage front, it has 2GB of RAM and 16GB of inbuilt memory which is expandable up to 64GB using a microSD card slot.

Smartphone also have a big 4000mAH battery for longer working time of 20 hours and standby time of 22 days in a single charge. Fingerprint sensor is forced to the back of the device. USP of Infocus Vision 3 is its dual rear camera setup – it has 13 MP + 5MP camera sensor with f/2.0 aperture at the back. Another 8MP camera is boarded to the front panel of the mobile. VoLTE supported smartphone is confirmed to receive android 8.0 Oreo in next month. Apart from that, smartphone will also get face recognition technology features through software updates, according to sources.
Infocus Vision 3 comes at a price value of Rs.6,999 and likely to compete with Redmi 5A smartphone. With this offering, company is looking to tap low budget customer segment of India. As launch offer, customer can avail Airtel 90GB free data (extra 15GB 3G/4G benefit for 6 months) on recharge of Rs.349 for prepaid users and Rs.499 for postpaid users exclusively for device purchasers on Amazon India.
