iPhone 8 to replace touch home button with functional area

Apple will ditch it’s home button on next version of iPhone i.e. Apple iPhone 8. iPhone 8 will get additional screen space for functional virtual buttons.

Latest reports suggest that Apple is going to launch three devices in 2017 and one out of three will be iPhone 8. Apple is very close to say no to physical home button. A report suggests that iPhone 8 will be 5.8 inch OLED with 5.1 inch display area. The other part will reserved for virtual functional buttons.

According to KGI analyst, iPhone 8 will switch to improvised version of biometric fingerprint security to enhance device privacy and security. However, newer technology remains to be unspecified at this point of time.  According to KGI Research, the device will have similar dimension to the 4.7” LCD iPhone 7 but the whole front will be a 5.8” OLED display. The display area will be 5.15” with 2436 x 1125 px resolution.

Last year The New York Times reported that apple may have virtual buttons and CGI analyst draw this conclusion on the basis of that report. On the final note, early reports suggests that iPhone 8 may be priced at around $1000.
