Jio is planning to introduce new plans with 1.5GB data per day at slashed prices. Indian Telecom Giant is ready to cut prices of its 1GB per day plans by up to Rs.60 as a part of Happy New Year offer 2018. According to a report published by Gadgets360, Rs.399 Jio Plan will not cost only Rs.349 (Rs.50 off) and so as the other plans.
This is an important step by Jio to counter the same offers provided by Airtel, Vodafone and Idea. The new plans will come into effect starting from Tuesday, 9th January, 2018 and official announcements will be made in this regard.
After the implementation of slashed prices of existing Jio plans, the Rs.199 plan that comes with 28GB data and 28 days validity will have a new price of Rs.149 offering the same benefits. In the same way, Rs.399 plan that offers 70GB data with 70 days validity right now, will have a new price of Rs.349 starting from Tuesday offering same data and calling benefits with 70 days validity. Other 1GB data per day plans of Rs.459 will have a new price value of Rs.399 offering 84GB data for 84 days. Not only these, Rs.499 will also witness these price cuts standing at Rs.449 offering 91GB data for 91 days.

The report suggests that Jio is all set to introduce 1.5GB data plans with slashed price and announcement of such plans is likely to be made on 9th January, 2018. These data plans will offer 50-percent more data benefits than existing 1GB data per day plans. The new 1.5GB data per day Jio plans include Rs.198 plan that will provide 42GB data for a period of 28 days (1.5GB per day), Rs.398 plan that will offer extra 50% data benefits accounting at 105GB data for 70 days. Third 1.5GB data per day Jio plan of Rs.498 offers 136GB data for a period of 91 days.

Jio has already announced promotional cashback coupons up to Rs.3300 for users making recharge of Rs.199 or more. There is no word on the validity period of the slashed data prices yet.
