Meizu has recently announced a new smartphone Meizu E3 with top notch features and lower price. Chinese smartphone industry have been busy from last few days launching back to back devices. It started with Oppo R15 followed by Vivo X21 and X21 UD. Upcoming launches for the same month are also on the cards as Oppo is ready with Oppo F7 while Vivo will unveil Vivo V9. There is no comments made on the part of company about the India launch.
Coming back to Meizu E3, it sports a 5.99-inch FHD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio and 1080 x 2160 pixels screen resolution. Display is protected with 2.5D curved glass and offers 403 ppi density. It runs Flyme 7.0 UI based on Android 7.1.2 Nougat. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 octa-core processor clocked at maximum speed of 1.8GHz and Adreno 509 GPU. Meizu E3 packs a dual camera on the rear panel featuring 12 megapixel (f/1.9 aperture, 1/2.55″, 1.4 µm pixel size lens, Dual Pixel PDAF, Sony IMX362 sensor) and 20 mega-pixel (f/2.6 aperture, 1/2.8″, 1.0 µm size lens, PDAF, Sony IMX350 sensor) sensors with dual-tone LED flash. Dual camera is partnered with a 8 mega-pixel selfie sensor on the front panel with f/2.0 aperture, in terms of optical internals.
The Meizu E3 is offered in two storage variants of 64GB and 128GB clubbed with 6GB LPDDR4x RAM. The fingerprint is mounted on the sides just like Meizu M6s which features side-mounted fingerprint sensor for the first time. It has a 3360mAh battery under the hood, which is claimed to 53-percent battery juice in just 30 minutes (uses mCharge technology). Connectivity features includes 4G VoLTE support, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth V5.o, A-GPS, GLONASS and USB Type-C 1.0 reversible connector. It measures 156.8 x 75 x 7.6 mm and its weight is 160 gram.
Meizu E3 64GB variant is priced at $ 284 (roughly translates into INR 18,500) and 128GB variant comes with a price tag of $ 315 (approx. Rs.20,599). Handset will be available in Black, Blue and Champagne Gold shades. Pre-orders will begin from 26th March and shipment will start from 31st March.
