Meizu updated through press conference that they will be announcing M6s on 17th January, 2018 in an event to be held at Beijing, China. Meizu M6s will be the first Meizu smartphone to feature trending 18:9 aspect ratio display. Handset recently got certified on TENNA and revealed key specifications ahead of the official launch. In 2018, company is all set to launch atleast five smartphones and few of them are already in the pipeline.
Meizu M6s also known as Meizu mBlu S6 (because Blue Charm arm split within the company) and device will also bear a mBlu logo for the first time. Smartphone looks very similar to Redmi 5 atleast in front view but with varied configurations inside it.

The Meizu M6s according to leaked specifications sports a 5.7-inch display with 720 x 1440 pixels screen resolution. Device also bears the trending 18:9 aspect ratio. Handset will be powered by Samsung’ Exynos 7872 hexa-core processor paired with Mali-G71 GPU. On the storage front, it has 3GB RAM and 32GB inbuilt memory. It also packs a 3000mAH battery with 9V / 2A 18W fast charging support. Looking at the key specifications, it can easily be concluded that device will have a price tag of approx CNY 999 and likely to take on Redmi 5 Plus.
According to photos revealed, left side of Meizu M6s will have volume button and right side, interestingly feature a fingerprint sensor just below the power button. Mobile vendors remains confused with the placement of fingerprint sensor and side position is another such attempt to solve that confusion.

Invitations for the launch event are already out and Meizu M6s a.k.a mBlu S6 will launch in China on 17th January, 2018. Nothing is known about the worldwide launch yet. Smartphone is expected to priced in the range of under Rs.10000 phones in India.
