Indian smartphone manufacturing company, Micromax launched better version of Micromax Canvas Infinity on Monday. Named as Micromax Canvas Infinity Pro, device will have a price tag of Rs.13,999 and going on sale from 6th December through Flipkart.com exclusively. Striking feature of Infinity pro is it’s unusual display of aspect ratio 18:9 in place of regular 16:9 aspect ratio display.
18:9 aspect ratio display is not new in smartphone industry as they are already pitched in smartphones like Samsung Galaxy S8 and Apple iPhone X. Both the latter smartphones have longer displays than wider but they come with aggressive pricing value of Rs.60,000 to Rs.89,000. With Canvas Infinity Pro, Micromax brings bezel-less-smartphones to the masses. Infinity Pro is a 5.7-inch display smartphone and to many it might look like larger size phone but that it not true, thanks to it’s bezel-less design. This unusual aspect ratio of 18:9 fits largers displays in smaller frames.
