5 points where Moto C and C Plus differ

Motorola Moto C got a 5 inch FWVGA (854×480) touchscreen display while C plus is a 5 inch Full HD 720p display. Don’t know why motorola prefers FWVGA display in the year 2017 where everyone is looking for advance features. Second, Basic version have 5 mega-pixel rear camera with LED flash and 2 mega-pixel front camera while the latter got the 8 mega-pixel rear camera with f/2.2 aperture and LED flash.

Third, Moto C smartphone got 1GB of RAM on the board with 8GB or 16GB of internal storage and it is powered by MediaTEK M6737M 1.1 GHz quad-core Cortex-A53 CPU processor while the latter got 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage powered by MediaTEK 1.3 GHz M6737M chipset. Fourth and major change is their batteries, Motorola Moto C is filled with 2350 mAH battery while C Plus is filled with 4000 mAH battery and that makes the real difference.

Both runs on Android Nougat however, they differ in dimensions (fifth difference). Moto C dimensions are 145.5 x 73.6 x 9 mm, and it weighs 154g while C Plus measures 144 x 72.3 x 10 mm, and weighs 162g. In international market Moto C smartphone is likely to release in two variants 3G model and 4G model with total different prices. But 3G model is not likely to release in Indian market looking the conditions and tilt of users towards 4G connectivity, thanks to Jio.

Moto C will be priced around Rs.7000 (approx) for the 4G model and Moto C plus will be available for approximately Rs.8500. Do the company succeed in creating budget smartphone keeping in view the features on the devices and their prices? Moto C is an old age smartphone that no one is going to prefer in this era while C plus can compete in the market with it’s not to ignore high battery capacity.
