The Motorola Moto X4 is all set to receive upgraded variant next week with a booster in its performance. Motorola India took on twitter to announce that a newer but souped up variant of Moto X4 will be launched on 1st February, 2018. As the tweet hints on ‘a sharper, faster and smarter’ edition this time, we can safely assume that device will pack higher amount of RAM (6GB) and confirmed to feature Android Oreo. Handset is also teased through a dedicated page on Flipkart.com confirming 6GB RAM and Android Oreo.
The Moto X4 is already available in India in two storage variants of 3GB + 32GB and 4GB + 64GB. Newer variant as hinted to be faster will pack 6GB RAM along with 64GB internal storage. Smartphone already received Android OTA update last month and the newer variant is confirmed to come pre-loaded with Android Oreo. This is what the company’s tweet reads;
Let’s talk about the Motorola Moto X4 smartphone. It sports a 5.2 inch Full HD display with 1920 x 1080 pixels screen resolution. Handset received Android Oreo update last month and newer edition comes pre-loaded with it and support Dual SIMs. It is powered by a 2.2GHz Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 SoC paired with 3GB/4GB/6GB RAM and 32GB/64GB internal storage. In terms of optics, phone features a dual camera of 12 mega-pixel and 8 mega-pixel sensor on the back and a 16 mega-pixel sharp shooter on the front supported with LED flash. It is backed by a 3000mAH battery and biometric sensor is attached to the home button.
Other features includes dual band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth v5.0 (after update), GPS/A-GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, support for moto mods etc. The Moto X4 is available in two shades – Super Black and Sterling Blue.
The newer variant will be launched exclusively through Flipkart.com on 1st February, 2018. There is no official word on pricing yet but it might bear a price tag of Rs.24,999 in India.
