Another information regarding Oppo F7’s internals has surfaced on the web ahead of the 26th March launch in India. A sales pitch manual appeared on the web, revealing all the in’s and out’s of handset and some features are touted by the company itself through its website. Now, we know everything about handset except its price. Indian cricketing stars like Ashwin, Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and Hardik Pandya are booked to promote the smartphone in the country. Previous leaks have already told us about it’s design and display features.
Recently, Oppo’s sister company, Vivo has released Vivo V9 in the country with similar design. Both Oppo F7 and Vivo V9 features a notch screen and joins the league of notched display smartphones started by Essential Phone and iPhone X. OnePlus is also a sister company of above two and recent reports has suggested same design packing for OnePlus 6 as well.
According to the recent sales pitch manual, Oppo F7 will sport a 6.2-inch FHD+ Full Screen Display with 19:9 aspect ratio and 1080 x 2280 pixels resolution. The manual hinted at packing of MediaTEK Helio P60 octa-core processor where four performance cores are clocked at 2GHz and four efficiency cores too clocked at 2GHz speed. Dual camera setup has been ditched on the back, which was seen in Vivo V9 (a vertical placed Dual shooter). Instead, it is touted to feature a 16 mega-pixel image sensor on the back panel with f/2.0 aperture and dual-tone LED flash. The official promotional video has confirmed a big 25 mega-pixel selfie sensor on the front panel with AI Beauty Technology 2.0. It can be safely assumed that F7 will also support facial recognition feature as well.
In terms of hardware configurations, a 3400mAh battery is said to be filled in the Oppo F7, that claims 15 hours of usage in a single charge. It will feature a fingerprint sensor mounted on the back side of phone.
Oppo F7 have a notch on the display and bezel-less display with rounded edges. It is teased to be an AI powered phone with supported features like AI selfie, Real time HDR, AI Beauty Technology 2.0, CoverShot and AR stickers. Gestures will play an important role in navigation as physical and capacitive touch buttons are ditched to offer a bezel-less display.
