    Bought it from flipkart.
Delivered in time. Packing was proper.
    Totally alright condtion of package.

Laptop is very nice value for the price.
    There IS a fingerprint sensor.
Working well with windows 10. Pro
A superior display resolution is needed for the most demanding consumer though.

    1. Brought it for 42k. Specifications are Worth the price.
    2. Comes with vga port. So almost all features included needed for a student or office works.
    1. Keyboard and touch pad could have been better. Mainly touchpad!
    2. As usual dell cd drive is difficult to open because of its placement. Need to handle with care.

Overall good product if you are looking for higher specification in low budget. Would recommend.
But it comes with ubuntu OS which is the main reason for low price.

This is a detailed review after 2 days of use and thorough testing
First, let’s go over the proper specifications (since Flipkart had charged a few things after I placed the order)
    Processor: i5 7200u
    RAM : 8 GB DDR4
    HDD: 1 TB
    GPU: AMD Radeon 2GB

-The i5 7th Gen processor is super fast and suitable all kinds of tasks ranging for normal office use to coding , designing and editing

-It has a 8GB DDR4 RAM which is faster than DDR3 and also takes in less power

-Graphics card, the AMD Radeon 2GB version is good for video experience but won’t recommend it for gaming. It has 1 HDMI output port and 1 VGA port.

    – Overall laptop is made up of good quality plastic. The keyboard is strong enough and the keys won’t come out.

    – Battery of 41 wH would last you for 4-5 hours easily with Ubuntu

    – Comes preinstalled with Ubuntu which is why the cost is so less

    – It comes with McAfee security multiple devices key

    – The design is too generic. It seems like there was no work done on the designing part. It’s fully black with the same texture everywhere.

-Touchpad has the click buttons in itself. It’s pretty loose and seems like you’re clicking everytime you’re scrolling.

    -No backlit keyboard

Overall, I’d say it’s the best one out there at around 40000. All other brands have similar products priced over 50k. Also dell has the best after sales service in India. So I’ll highly recommend this product.

Also I’ve tested all the features with Checkbox for Ubuntu and everything is working fine (WiFi, Bluetooth, card reader, webcam, headphone jack, mic etc). Also Ubuntu is the best for programming but I’d recommend installing windows as it’ll give way better performance and utilise the resources properly.

Won’t mention the specs again, u already read it. Just a point of note that, 8GB RAM is in one slot and the other is empty.
    (Will Update Gaming performance later)

    Build Quality:
Pls don’t judge the laptop now, but the build quality is poor. Looks like a cheap 20-25k laptop. Dell has used a single textured plastic all over the body. The plastic used is also an oil magnet, so would be filled with marks all over it. There is an LED indicator on the capslock key, but none for numpad. Also no led on the power button. The buttons could have lighten up, but Dell has not put an LED beneath. The cheap plastic though makes the laptop lighter, no doubt. The design is plain. CD drive too looks quite brittle for the first time (although works fine). No lights whatsoever on Fingerprint scanner, sits there like a dead line, but works fine. The keyboard is chicklet, and not that great to feel, but you don’t really matter while you get used to it.
Charger provided is good and the quality of cables is great too, unlike acer which provides a poor charger cable
    Performance (Non Gaming):
Performs really well. Does not heat up at all when doing nominal tasks like watching movies or surfing the net. The laptop hardly seems like it’s running. If you avoid the looks and concentrate on the performance, you will start loving it, because it doesn’t disappoint you. All applications work flawlessly, thanks to the intel i5 and 8GB RAM. It’s smooth performance makes it a great laptop, even though it lacks in some features compared to its rivals. The mouse pad is just wide and really nice, once you install the synaptics drivers, they are just a boon, so many gesture controls are available. Just don’t forget to install synaptics drivers, because gestures won’t work otherwise.

Comes with Ubuntu, for installing Windows , you have to do certain changes in the BIOS settings. Would be a lengthy process to write. Better call tech support or read some other reviews.

Comes with two great hardware security features: fingerprint scanner and a TPM (Trusted Platform Module) Chip. Finger print scanner works fine once you install the driver from the dell website. Dell should have given a driver CD. Finger print scanner has no indicators, just a lack line and it works fine. Not very responsive, but works fine. A McAfee anti virus key is provided with 1 year subscription for upto 3 devices.

    Screen and Web Cam:
Comes with an anti-glare screen with standard resolution. Not a full HD display. I found the screen very good and comfortable to work even for ling hours. It produces the colors well. Although, if you want a vibrant screen, then the screen may disappoint you. Although, for coders and business users, it’s perfect.
I found the Web camera to be good. Certainly it’s a budget laptop so not the best, but compared to Acer and HP, I found the camera working better. Sufficient for Video calls.

Speakers are very ordinary, nothing significant. Again sort of a cost cutting, but I think that’s okay, most of us use external speakers anyways.
There is only a single jack for audio, that supports earphones with MIC. No separate inputs of earpieces and MIC. I see it as a great thing, as most of my mobile earphones will work, won’t need to buy separate MIC.

Battery life is really good. Can run without any issues for 5-6 hrs easily on nominal usage.

    Service and Support:
Dell support is considered to be one of the best and you get a warranty of roughly about 428 days. You can extended warranty using the dell GST offer running currently.

Now I have first setup the pc with ubuntu and then installed Windows but you can install windows without First setting up Ubuntu I guess. Anyways this is what I did
Be ready with a windows cd or flash drive

    1) During booting Press F12 and then disable Ubuntu secure login feature this is mandatory . If you dont disable it you can not Install os from pendrive or cd

    2) Select Cd or pendrive

    3) windows installation starts And when disk partition arrives it says U can not proceed further drive should be in ntfs format

    4) format and delete all the drives. Now click on new and create drives as per your choice

    5) Click next when the process is continuing System says that now it will restart and computer shuts off It doesnt restart

    6) Click on power button of laptop and press F12. In boot option click on Legacy now come back and Continue the boot

    7) Thats it enjoy guys 🙂

    Pros :
    Literally everything

    Cons :
Battery 3.5 – 4 hrs But I think its not bad

A tad costly , Acer aspire E15 is chepaer with the same specs and has Nvidia graphics unlike AMD here

Received this product on 19, May 2017.
It comes with Intel Core i5-7200U processor and 8GB DDR4 RAM. (Note that it is not DDR3 RAM)
No fingerprint scanner with this model. Nowhere it mentioned in specification also. But the photos reflect the availability of Fingerprint scanner. I request seller to change the photos accordingly.
Drivers not available for Windows 8. Hence it supports only Windows 7 and Windows 10 as mentioned in Dell website.
    Yet to see other performances.
I received the product which was manufactured on April 2017.
Don’t waste your time by installing Windows 7 or 8. Even though it is supporting windows 7 as mentioned in Dell website, drivers are not working as expected in windows 7 environment. It is recommended to install directly windows 10 x64 version. No driver issues with windows 10.

There is a lot of confusion regarding fingerprint sensor in this model is there or not if you read the older reviews.
There ‘is a fingerprint sensor’ but it is not mentioned in the specifications. Even the flipkart representative was unable to clarify my doubt regarding the fingerprint sensor.
Now coming to the laptop, it was really difficult to choose from dell vostro 3568 and lenovo ideapad 320E.
But I choose dell and i got a fingerprint sensor at the same price.
The build quality is sturdy, display quality is bright and crisp and the waves max audio speakers are awesome.
There is 4gb intel hd graphics 620 and 2gb amd radeon r5 420 graphics(incorrectly given in the specs).
One ram slot is occupied by 8 gb dd4 and the other is empty
Battery lasts for 3.5 to 4 hrs on normal usage on windows 10 pro.
As far as gaming is concerned, I haven’t installed and will update on it later on.
You will not regret buying this laptop.
PS- I got this laptop just @35490 on BBD.
