    I have been using this for the past 3 days and here is my review

    > The design is amazing. it tilts 300 degrees for the “Stand Mode”.
    > The bettery is well placed just below the screen so it provides the elevation you need to prevent the keyboard from touching down.
    > The battery is great. Wifi browsing, downloading drivers and playing microsoft store games i got 2 hours out of it in Balanced power mode. If set on low brightness and power saver mode, you can squeeze out 6 hours even with downloading through wifi (no other operations included).
    > The display is stunning for a 1366×768 resolution one. And touch is very very responsive.
    > As i was downloading a lot of stuff and updating few apps the system crashed and rebooted. I used the event viewer to find out the cause for this and found that a device driver was not responding. So went to lenovo website and installed all the latest drivers possible and even the ones not available on lenovo site. I updated the BIOS as well just in case.
    > Keyboard is not bad but not too great either. You might have to get used to it but as days progressed i felt the keys becoming more tackier through usage.
    > The sound quality is brilliant. there is no noise at all. there is not even humming noise when in pin-drop silence.
    > The weight is around 2 Kgs and i barely notice it in the backpack.
    > the touch pad is fairly responsive. I have seen touch pads in the showroom in some HP as well as lenovo models which have the latest Windows 8 gesture touchpad. Not all of them were rigid. some were loose while clicking and felt cheap while others were strong and responsive. So i guess this is a individual defect instead of the general product defect.
    > It doesnt heat much like other Intel processors which get heated even while just browsing. So i left the idea of getting a cooling pad.
    > The camera quality could have been better given the price range. It performs very bad under night light. but good if you have a well lit room or under day light.
    > I have been using a windows 8.1 desktop for sometime now, so the interface is easier for me. For new users i recommend going through the User guide and gestures.
    > Stop complaining that it is not good for gaming. No where in the product description it has been mentioned that this is a gaming laptop. But still you can find games that you can play with decent graphic settings. Go to sites like “Can You Run It” to auto detect the games you can run. You can Play EA-Fifa 14 with no issues 🙂
    > The 8GB SSD is a NAND flash and helps to precache data, hence you cannot actually use it or see it in the Windows explorer.
    > The Hard Disk is pre-partitioned which is a single partition for C drive alone, so you cannot have active partitions. But you can use third party software’s to create logic drives.

    Hence to sum it up here are the pros and cons.

    Pros:
    -> Display.
    -> Stylish design.
    -> Good performance under medium to high stress.
    -> Battery Life.
    -> No noticeable heat.
    -> Brilliant Audio quality.
    -> Pre-activated windows 8.1
    -> Very responsive touch screen and
    -> Very low or no noise.
    -> Light weight.

    Cons:
    -> You have to be a little tech savy to find all the latest drives and install them for flawless results.
    -> The keyboard is not that great with some keys feeling weaker than the others.
    -> 1 MP camera is a drawback but works ok in a well lit space or daylight.
    -> Lenovo customer care is said to be bad but i havent experienced it personally (yet)
    -> You do not get a DVD drive and it is also mentioned in the Spec. But we would have loved that variant.
    -> No projector/SVGA port to connect to an external projector. But you can get a HDMI to SVGA connector if it is really necessary.
    -> Finger prints get easily registered on the screen. It might go away once you get a scratch guard.

    If you are a patient users who settles down to update the laptop completely before starting to give it a full run, i recommend this for you 100%.

    Will update in case i find anything in the future.

    This laptop is pretty lean !! Gives of a very delicate and fragile appearance but is not so . Pretty solidly built overall but has one major flaw which kind of spoils the whole design – that is its slightly wobbly keypad.
    The trackpad is also a little too enthusiastic in recognizing touches but that cant be really said to be a bad thing. will take time getting used to it i suppose.
    So as everyone else , I will point out the pro’s and con’s.
    Pro’s:
    1) Very responsive touch
    2) display screen is great with good viewing angles (@this price it surely is)
    3) There is no separate SSD here as implied by Flipkart , instead its a hybrid disk .System info revealed that its a Seagate’s ST500LM000 which has a built in 8gb NAND flash drive in it. So better than your average hard disk.
    4) the speakers are pretty good
    5) online research showed that the AMD QuadCore A6 is as good as the core i3 4010U , and that model is like 6k extra +no exchange offer.for that model.
    6) very less pre-installed bloatware surprisingly
    7) no noise pr sound , no heating at all visible
    8) hinges are pretty solid
    Cons:
    1) Battery life of 6 hours was only reported in the testing teams dreams I guess . Max battery life which I could achieve was 4 hrs in mid to dim brightness while only doing some browsing and reading.
    2) the flimsy keypad – which I feel will be the soar point for me throughout this laptop’s existence.
    3) the touch screen does require frequent wipes to remove the finger prints.
    4) the 1 MP camera is just pathetic in this day and age.

    On the whole this product is a must buy if you are in the following categories:
    1) not a hard core gamer
    2) not a tech nerd with junks of softwares installed
    3) not a spec whore
    4) enjoy watching movies, TV series and movies along with downloading them
    5) doing tonnes of browsing
    6) and reading (online or offline)
    7) like playing solitaire on windows.

    I bought it by exchanging my 5+ year old Dell Studio 1555 so i do feel a little sad but that laptop had to go or it would have burnt me to death in another few months 😉
    So if you have a old laptop (working condition) go ahead exchange it and get this one as i think its a GREAT deal at 26000.

    Dr. Radha

    I bought this laptop from Flipkart through WS Retail Seller. I am a doctor working in a teaching college so needed a laptop mostly for use for teaching and internet reading.

    However, this is what happened when I placed the order:

    1. I ordered for a silver laptop (graphic showed silver colour) but was delivered a BLACK laptop!! I complained to Flipkart about this the very next day n they said they would call back… However, the complaint was handled only after a period of about 9-10 days and during that time my work suffered as I did not know whether to use the laptop or not!!!

    Finally after 10 days, I decided to use the laptop, and when Flipkart called to offer to change the laptop, I took an apology token from then instead and sacrificed on my colour- silver.

    2. The product works fine, touch feature is great but the laptop has several drawbacks:

    a. I CANNOT CONNECT THIS LAPTOP TO THE LCD PROJECTOR as it lacks the port reqd to connect the cable of the projector!!!! I have to now go for a converter device to insert that pin OR beg to other people to transfer my presentation onto theirs before my class!

    3. No optical drive (can’t play DVD) which I knew before buying.

    4. The screen will not flip upside down when laptop is kept in flex mode. So viewing in tent mode is not possible for this model.

    Rest is all fine. This laptop heats up much less than my previous Dell Inspiron machine which heated like a furnace! It is light and comfortable to slip inside backpack, good for travel. Scrolling documents is a bit of a trouble as the touchpad won’t allow touch-scroll- you have to use both hands to scroll using touchpad (alternately u can use the arrow-down key). Battery life is pretty good, lasts 3-4 hrs comfortably with medium brightness. All in all, a good laptop for minimum or basic needs…however, I suggest u choose another one if your work involves projecting presentations from the laptop onto the big screen!

    Overall, I give 2.5/5 to WS Retail for delivering wrong colour, 2.5/5 to Flipkart for the delay in exchanging and 2.5/5 to Lenovo Flex-2 14 D for not being very compatible with my teaching function.

    Got the product within 2 days. Really fast shipping!!

    Pros:
    Dispaly is good.
    Touch works fine.
    Battery comes upto 5-6 hours when using it. If you keep the laptop in stand by mode you get may up to 7-8 hours. Good battery performance!!
    You can’t hear any noise while using it.

    Cons:
    Not a backlit keyboard.So typing in low light conditions is difficult.
    Touch pad sometimes not responding properly.
    If you try to play high graphical games, system gets struck.

    Shipping: They sent me a black one instead of Silver.Take care about it!!

    Within this price range, this is absolutely a nice product.

    Best touch screen lapi in this price range. Small, handy and compact.

    one con:
    There is no back light keyboard. Still not a big deal, you can switch on your room lights 🙂

    Bought this laptop in hurry as my dell studio got dead
    First thing this laptop looks only shiny in its pics and description
    There are severe problems with keyboard as it is flimsy and sometimes it does not gets pressed when you try to push with little pressure. Regarding this problem i have read in others reviews and thought it will not be much of a problem, but i was clearly wrong.
    Mouse pad is also not good, and i have to buy a wireless mouse.
    Expect black colored one model instead of the silver shown in images.
    And the biggest problem is its LAN port, i must say very bad design. Flexible design of the LAN port makes it very easily lose contact and results in connection breakage frequently even with small movement.
    No serial port for connecting LCD projector.
    Also hinges looks weak, hoping it will stay intact till i arrange money to buy a new one.
    Finally thanks to Lenovo it comes pre-installed with lots of software from Lenovo, making laptop slow.
    Only pro is you can have a touch screen for low cost, which you are hardly going to use believe me.
    Advice buy some other laptop, or first check this laptop at a store.

    Really fast delivery – received the product within 3days.

    Altogether the laptop is nice and light weight. The quality of packaging was excellent.

    The laptop was fast and took sometime to get used to the Windows 8.1 UI.

    Connected to the internet through the WiFi and the Windows 8.1 OS got activated in the background. Video streaming was at awesome speed, never stopped for buffering.

    Cons:

    Laptop screen looked pleasing but after few touches the finger prints were bothering the viewing.

    Sometimes the touch is not responded, requires multiple touch to select an item / click an icon.

    But I couldn’t find the SSD disk in the device manager. I doubt if there is one in my laptop. I rechecked the flipkart specification and the manufacturer specification. Both claim an 8GB SSD in the laptop.

    Also I received the black color whereas the specification claims silver color.

    I asked for replacement and the flipkart agreed to replace the right product. I waited for 3days for the replacement and finally what I received is the similar piece in black color and missing the SSD hardware.

    I don’t understand what kind of a replacement mechanism is this? Very bad on flipkart’s reputation for delivering the right product claiming the right specs in the portal.

    Works beautifully and lasts quite long on a single charge. The AMD A6 Quad is definitely better than the 4th Gen Core i3 processors found in the laptops in the 30k price range.

    The Flex design is definitely not a gimmick. The tilt-able design, touch screen, Win 8.1, and the light weight (below 2kgs) make this laptop far more useful than the bulky and ugly traditional laptops from other manufacturers.

    If you are not a blind fan of Intel, just pick this laptop. This is in my opinion the best value proposition in this price bracket

    Pros:
    * Excellent value laptop – AMD A6, 4GB RAM, 500GB HDD, Windows 8, at Rs.32K.
    * Sufficiently fast for common tasks like web browsing, using office apps.
    * Supports monitors with full HD screen resolution through HDMI port.
    * 3 USB ports (including USB 3.0) allow using multiple accessories (wireless mouse, pen drive, data cable)
    * Was able to upgrade to Windows 10, without any issues.
    Cons:
    * The screen blanked out after a year. It was out of warranty and was asked to replace screen at extra cost.
    * The touch pad ‘senses’ many false touches and the pointer randomly moves on the screen. Had to disable it and use mouse.
    * Keyboard quality is average. Works fine for occasional typing tasks, but not suited for heavy typing.
