Hi everyone ,This my first review ,
E8 is a phone I was very eager to get my hands on , I owned a nexus 5 before that and I loved stock android and not a fan of the skins that other manufactures put on top of it and make it slow …
I read in many reviews that e8 has sense 6 which is a very nice skin , it is very fast , fluid , simple and absolutely zero lag … And after using it for days I’m saying , yes it is all true …
The hardware ;The feel is really good , a bit tall but not An issue at all , I love it .
The display is very good , good viewing angles and can be used under direct sunlight ..
The boom sound speakers are the best , really the best , blows away all the rest .
It’s like the good old days when you crank up the volume , you really enjoy the loud music and unlike the modern phones where only one person can hear the music when it’s next to him 😀
Camera is not as good as you would expect , it is not bad either ,, it’s average , but most people will be satisfied with the results if they don’t expect spectacular photos ..the white balance seems to the problem area , hope it’s a software issue and gets sorted out,.
One thing all the smart phones these days lack is good battery life .. E8 has good battery life , can use for one whole day and in the night you’ll have. 20% to spare ..
The phone is very fast , and no heating issues at all…
    Although I’m not a heavy gamer .
A very good all rounder , i got it for 33750 .. I must say its a very good deal .
The fastest processor , dual sim , descent cam , very good battery life and solid build quality. Go ahead and buy , you will not regret it . The speakers are just awesome .
The extreme power saving mode can really help your phone go for 15 hours at least , after it reaches 10 % battery , and really will help a lot of people 🙂

To start with, the specifications of this phone blows every other phone in this price range out of the water. Getting a snapdragon 801 processor at this price is amazing. This phone is compromising just on the camera and metal body of the HTC One M8 but who cares! Still this phone comes with a polycarbonate body which is very sturdy. It has all the goodies which it’s elder brother (M8) has to offer. At this price it’s still any day better than Sony Xperia Z1, Nexus 5 (32GB) and Samsung galaxy S5.
Using this phone and loving every part of it.

The phone is best in this price range when compared to its rival samsung galaxy s5 which is selling crappy exynos processor phone at the same price. NO phone can match the class of HTC.

I have enjoyed using this device. However, HTC’c commitment in helping me resolve the 4G connectivity issue is disappointing. The specs on the manufacturer site and on various forums confirm the 4G capability. But when you try to ask HTC about how to enable it, they say that since Airtel if the only provider offering 4G, for the moment, the HTC One E8 would not be compatible on the networks. There is no option of turning on 4G, even I have a 4G enabled SIM. Worse if that HTC is not ready to confirm if an future update would be released that makes the Phone connect to 4G networks. Very disappointed at this.
Also, no accessory support at all. You can’t even get a decent case.

I got this phone yesterday (Not through flipkart) , The specs of the phone are very good, I think HTC has got it right this time By launching E8 In india, As it is a mixture of dual sim phone with almost all features of a flagship phone… There was a major drawback in HTC phones previously with the battery life. But they have provided phones with good battery (Desire 816, M8, and E8) apart from the features, Thanks HTC,,

I’ve been using this for nearly 2 months and it really brings awesome experience. Coming from Samsung Galaxy S3 it really is a good upgrade to E8. Here are the pros and cons of the device.
    Pros
Dual SIM Support for both CDMA and GSM, Excellent Display, Beautiful design which looks solid in hand unlike Samsung cheap plastic materials, good Battery life, Decent Camera (it’s good but not the best), Awesome Music experience via speakers and with Headphones( it’s the best headphones I’ve seen so far)
    Cons
Camera under Low light conditions is average unless with flash, Finding the accessories for this phone is difficult as it’s not popular it’s not available in local shops so you’re left with no option but to buy online

So overall I’d definitely recommend this device and I’m really happy about every aspect of this beast.

HTC One E8-> Good (may not be the Best) in every aspect. Build Quality, though a polycarbonate body, is awesome! The best in class Snapdragon 801 processor! In fact it is HTC One M8 in all hardware specification sans IR Blaster,Uni-metal body & Dual Camera! Well all that hardly matters if u can save around Rs 8000- Rs 10,000 easily! Again the dilemma arises as the same phone is priced ~26000 in China!
But U will still consider it for the specification it has and Its HTC!
All said and done….Proud to be Owner of this masterclass!

So, after a very long confusion between nexus 5, samsung galaxy S4, LG G2 & htc one E8 I decided to pick this beauty because all other are outdated now.
It is a true beast not even a single lag experienced till now, it is capable of handling all heavy games very smoothly.
its full HD screen is stunning and color production is up to the mark.
Boomsound speakers are fun while playing games.

-E8 beats every plastic body device present in the market, thanks to HTC ,they managed to keep great build quality even if they used plastic material, beautifully crafted dual curve design.
-It has Qualcomm Snapdragon 801,quad-core CPU and adreno 330 GPU to deliver buttery performance, 2GB of RAM,my antutu benchmark score(38920)
-CAMERA is decent but not that great as well, but if you know how to play with manual functions then it’s not an issue, pictures are detailed and crisp in daylight, good for regular use but it depends if you are very serious about photo quality then you should buy a camera not a smartphone.
Front facing camera is not impressive, pictures are noisy and washed out.
-It has motion gestures similar to M8 which are quite useful to unlock screen because HTC again decided to annoy people by giving lock button at the top.
    -Battery performance is decent.
-This device is very decent & stands out of the crowd

Overall it is a good choice available right now if storage is not an issue moto X(2014) is also similar to E8 in all aspects but it runs stock android so depends on personal preference.

I purchased it from BigC and I am writing this review after a moth of use. I am only going to tell you about the user experience. I literally dont care about the specsheet.
    Pros
1.No lag (even in the most demanding situations and while multitasking)
    2.No heating
    3.Smooth UI(Sense 6)
    4.Blinkfeed(HTC exclusive) love it. 🙂
5.Speakers and headphones are a bliss!(If you are an audiophile you’re going to love this product)
6.Call quality is awesome.Noise reduction is fair.
    7.Really feels good to hold.
8.HTC DotView cover(really a must have if you have a One series phone)
    9.Lollipop update(2015 1Q)

    Cons
1.Camera quality isnt on par with other competitors when it comes to low light shots
2.Size is way too big. Anything around 4.5″-4.7″(One M7) would have been perfect but again it is just a PERSONAL PREFERENCE.
3.thick bezels around the screen, but you wouldnt notice it anyway.
4.No HDR video. HDR photo is average too.
5.Slowmotion is good only outdoors. Indoor quality is pathetic.
6.Design is cool but I think the back is slippery(I would suggest getting the grey with matte finish)
7.The power is on the top(makes it difficult to reach with one hand, but since you have the gesture controls, It wouldnt be a problem)
    8.Buttons arent that clicky.

    Thats it.
If you are going to get this phone, Then I suggest that you apply a tempered screenguard+microSD class 10(16GB atleast)+DotView cover.

When I contacted the HTC support about Lollipop update, they said it is under development, and will be available by feb-march via OTA.
Also 2 years of Android updates are guaranteed. 🙂

I’ve been using this beauty for 2 months now and its really brings awesome experience. After using Samsung Galaxy S3 for more than year, Its a really good upgrade as It has excellent design and display, extraordinary performance, good battery life and a decent camera( which is good but not the best) and music experience it delivers through speakers and headphones is probably the best I’ve seen so far.
There are some cons like It’s too big in size as compared to the other 5inch smartphones so quite difficult to operate on single hand and finding accessories for this model is very difficult.
So overall I’d definitely recommend for everyone as it supports both CDMA and GSM functionality
