With the launch of Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chip, company also debuts its fast charging technology, Quick Charge 4.0 and now they have outed the list of supported devices to such technology. If you are expecting several devices to this list, then it will disappoint you.
With the time, smartphones are coming with lots of top notch features that consumes higher energy. To counter that consumption, makers are placing huge batteries inside them. But, huge battery require time to fill up the battery juice. To cope with such problem and to minimise charging time, Quick Charging technology comes as a saviour. With popular Qualcomm’s Quick Charge technology, customers can charge their smartphone in matter of few minutes. Recently, Qualcomm upgraded this technology from 3.0 to 4.0. The latest version can fill 50% battery juice in matter of 15 minutes while a quick 5 minute charge can provide up to 5 hours of talk time. So, now you understand its importance.
The official Qualcomm Website shows a list of devices that supports Quick Charge 4.0 technology and surprisingly it has only one device to this list. Razer Phone, the first real gaming smartphone is the only one among the list that supports Quick Charge 4.0. We just like you were expecting few more devices to this list, atleast the ZTE Nubia Z17 which at the time of launch confirmed by company to support Quick Charge 4.0.
We can expect addition of many more devices to this list by the end of year. Most probably LG G7 and OnePlus 6 are sure to be in this list.
