Although, Samsung Galaxy J2 (2018) is not official yet because no official statement is made regarding the launch of budget-ranger by the company yet. But certain leaks already confirmed that handset is near to launch and now a official listing on Samsung’s Russian Website solidifies the leak. Website listed a case for J2 (2018) which reveals certain key specifications and design related characteristics about the phone. If we go the emerging reports, then handset will first launch in Russia followed by other global markets including India in coming weeks.

Low-end mobile phone is the successor of previously launched Galaxy J2 (2017) that witness first sale in India back in October, 2017. Official listing shows similar design features for the new edition. Case listed on website have four colours – Pink, Coral Blue, Black and Gold and it is expected that Galaxy J2 (2018) will also be presented in these colours. Many images of handset are also available on the site. But, it does not confirm the price and availability of neither case nor actual handset.
Earlier leak by Becompact.ru confirmed all the key specifications of smartphone such as it sports a 5-inch qHD Super Amolded display with 960 x 540 pixels screen resolution. Samsung Galaxy J2 (2018) will be powered by 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8917 425 Quad-core chipset coupled with 1.5GB RAM. It has 16GB inbuilt storage that is further expandable up to 256GB through a microSD card. Device also pack modest cameras of 8MP on the rear panel and 5MP on the front panel, both accompanied by a LED flash. In comparison to original variant which packed a 2000mAH battery, 2018 variant has a bigger 2600mAH battery.
The Samsung Galaxy J2 (2018) with model number SM-J250F will be priced at 7,999 russian ruble (approximately Rs.8,999), according to BeCompact listing. However, official launch, price and availability is yet to announced.
