Samsung expands it’s portfolio with new member in the On-series smartphones, named as Galaxy On7 Prime. Handset today got listed at Amazon India revealing all the key specifications packed into it. Smartphone quietly got listed on Amazon without much hype. Listing does not tells about the launch date or pricing yet. Apart from Amazon India, On7 prime also gets listed on Samsung UAE site with almost similar configurations except a 8 mega-pixel front snapper instead of 13 mega-pixel on Indian variant.
Samsung previously launched two handsets in the On7 segment named as Galaxy On7 and Galaxy On7 Pro, this one will be the third offering in the On7 catalogue.
The Samsung Galaxy On7 Prime sports a 13.88cm or 5.5-inch Full HD display with 1920 x 1080 pixels screen resolution. Listing also suggests a ultra-slick 8mm slim phone and full metal unibody design. It is powered by a Exynos 7870 octa-core processor clocked at 1.6GHz CPU speed. Handset will be offered in two variants in India – first with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage and second variant offers 4GB RAM and 64GB inbuilt storage. Users seeking higher memory can make use of dedicated microSD card slot to increase internal storage up to 256GB. Smartphone will be backed by a 3300mAH battery and in terms of weight it stands at 167g.
In terms of optics, Galaxy On7 Prime features 13 mega-pixel camera on both rear and front panel with f/1.9 aperture offering low-light photography. Rear camera is accompanied by a LED flash as well. Device will support Samsung Pay Mini for mobile payments. Apart from this information, photographs of On7 prime suggests a fingerprint sensor attached to the home button and capacitive buttons on the left and right side of home button.
