Vivo has launched another variant of Vivo V9 (which was outed first in Thailand followed by release in India on March, 23) in India with almost similar specifications but slightly lower prices. Named as Vivo V9 Youth, it brings large 6.3-inch FullView display with AI integrated 16MP selfie camera. The handset is already available through offline channels across the country and going to hit online stores including Amazon, Flipkart and PayTM Mall starting from 24th April. It looks exactly similar to standard variant but have minor differences if we take internals into consideration.

The Vivo V9 Youth runs Android 8.1 Oreo based FunTouch OS 4.0 UI on the top. It has a 6.3-inch Full HD+ FullView display with a notch, 19:9 aspect ratio, 400 ppi density, Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and 2280 x 1080 pixels screen resolution. The phone is powered by a 1.8GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 octa-core processor paired with 4GB RAM and 32GB internal storage (which is further expandable up to 256GB using microSD card).
Talking of optics, V9 Youth sports a vertically stacked dual camera setup on the rear panel jus like Apple iPhone X, featuring 16 mega-pixel and 2 mega-pixel image sensors. On the front panel, it is equipped with 16 mega-pixel selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture. The smartphone supports facial recognition technology and front camera is patched up with spices of artificial intelligence. As usual, fingerprint sensor sits on the rear side.
The Vivo V9 Youth packs a 3260mAh battery for efficient usage. It measures 154.8 x 75.1 x 7.9 mm in terms of dimensions and weighs at 150 gram. Interesting features includes a ‘Gaming Mode’ feature that avoids distractions from incoming notifications such as calls, messages etc. while you are playing games on the device. It supports picture-in-picture for games. Split screen feature can be quickly accessed by sliding down three fingers on the screen. It is also equipped with a gaming keyboard to instantly file your replies while you are in gaming zone.
The Vivo V9 Youth Price in India is set at Rs.18,990 and can be picked from any nearby retail outlets. Online availability begins from 24th April. It will be available in shades of Champagne Gold and Pearl Black.
