Vivo X20 Plus UD might unveil on 25th January, Check leaked prices

Vivo’s under-display fingerprint scanner featuring smartphone, Vivo X20 Plus UD might unveil on 25th January, according to the latest leak by a twitter user. Vivo becomes first mobile maker to house in-display fingerprint sensor in a smartphone by showcasing the innovation at Consumer Electronics Show 2018. Handset recently got listed on TENNA, a Chinese website revealing all the necessary key specifications. The listing also hinted on nearby launch of phone.

According to Zyad Atef, a contributor at, Vivo X20 Plus UD will be released on 25th January, 2018. He also went to reveal the price as well, handset will be priced at CNY 3,998. Vivo showcased the in-display fingerprint sensor innovation at CES on Vivo X20 Plus handset. And the new smartphone is expected to borrow all the specifications from X20 Plus itself.

The Vivo X20 Plus UD is expected to sport a 6.43-inch Full HD+ Super Amolded display with 2160 x 1080 pixels screen resolution and trending 18:9 aspect ratio. Phone will be powered by a Snapdragon 660 octa-core processor clocked up to 2.2GHz CPU speed. Processor will be paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage. As of optics, it will pack a dual camera lens of 12 mega-pixel accompanied by another 5 mega-pixel sensor. It will also offer a 12 mega-pixel selfie camera with f/1.8 aperture for low-light photography.

The major highlight of Vivo X20 Plus UD is it placing of fingerprint sensor below the screen. Fingerprint sensor sits between the glass and OLED panel, according to a presentation given by company at CES 2018.

Summing up all the leaks, we have all the key specifications on the cards and X20 Plus UD is expected to be launched on 25th January in China with a price tag of CNY 3,998 (approximately translates to INR 39,999). There is no official word on the launch. It will be interesting to see if handset will make to Indian market or not because no model of X20 series of Vivo has been launched in India.
