Vivo has launched Vivo X21i in China on 16th May silently. The phone features similar design and internal configurations as the parent handset, Vivo X21. Only major difference is that Vivo X21 works on Qualcomm SDM660 Snapdragon 660 processor and this one works on Mediatek Helio P60 processor. The handset will go on sale on 19th May in China and pre-orders for the same are already open. There is no official confirmation regarding dates for India launch yet.
Vivo X21i features, price and availability
The Vivo X21i runs android Oreo 8.1 based Funtouch OS 4.0 and supports dual SIMs. The smartphone works on Mediatek MT6771 Helio P60 octa-core processor with a 2GHz clock speed. The phone will be available in two memory variants, the first one packs 4GB RAM coupled with 128GB onboard storage and another one packs 6GB RAM with 64GB inbuilt memory. Internal memory can be expanded upto 256GB using microSD cards (using hybrid slot).
Vivo X21i packs a 6.28-inches FHD+ Super AMOLED display with 19:9 aspect ratio, 1080 x 2280 pixels screen resolution, 402 ppi density and 85.0% screen-to-body ratio. Smartphone features a dual camera setup on the rear panel packing 12 mega pixel (f/1.8 aperture, 1/2.5″, 1.4µm) and a 5 mega pixel (f/2.0 aperture) sensors and it also sports a selfie camera of 24 mega pixel on the front panel. Handset is also equipped with AI scene recognition , face unlock feature and fingerprint sensor.
The Vivo X21i smartphone is charged up by 3425 mAH battery supported with fast battery charging. The handset parameters are 154.4 x 75 x 7 mm in terms of dimensions and weighs at 159 gm. Connectivity features includes 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack and AK4376A Hi-Fi audio chip.
Vivo X21i price in China is set at CNY 2,698 (approx Rs. 28,735) for both 4GB/128GB and 6GB/64GB versions. The phone will be available in Black, Aurora White and Ruby Red colour variants. The handset will go on sale in China on 19th May and advance booking for the same are available.
