After the launch of Vivo V9 with top end specifications, Vivo has now launched a low specs packing phone to tap the lower budget market of India. The Chinese company has recently outed Vivo Y71 with large display with 18:9 aspect ratio, becoming the first phone in ‘Y Series’ to feature such display. However, no official statement regarding its launch has been made on part of makers.
Vivo Y71 Features, Price and Availability in India
According to a report published by 91Mobiles, Vivo Y71 will run Android 8.1 Oreo with FunTouch OS on the top. The smartphone sports a 5.99-inch HD+ display with trendy 18:9 aspect ratio and 1440 x 720 pixels screen resolution. It is powered with Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 octa-core processor clocked at 1.8GHz speed and Adreno 506 GPU. On storage front, it has 3GB RAM and 16GB internal storage, which can be increased up to 256GB with the help of microSD card.
The Vivo Y71 features 13 megapixel shooter on the rear panel which is supported with LED flash. On the front panel, it has a 5 mega-pixel sensor for capturing selfies. Fingerprint sensor is not available on the device, but it has opted for facial unlock feature to offer biometric authentication for additional security. A 3360mAh capacity battery is used to power the device to offer longer hours of usage. The connectivity features include 4G LTE, dual-SIM slots, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS.
Vivo Y71 Price in India is set Rs.10,990 as per the sources. It will be available through major offline retail stores in the country. No specific time and date is revealed for starting of sale. Phone will be available in Black and Gold colour options. It is likely that company might go for official launch for the handset. Online availability is not known till writing of this article.
