Vivo has introduced a new smartphone Vivo Z1i in China. It is cheaper version of Vivo Z1, which was launched in May, 2018. Smartphone is designed with Jovi AI Assistant and a Face wake feature for the facial feature to unlock the phone. It packs AR stickers and AI backed smart beauty features. The handset will go on sale from 7th July in China and pre-orders for the same are live. Company did not reveal any official date for Global and India launch.
Vivo Z1i specifications, availability and price
Vivo Z1i is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 octa-core chipset and clocked at 1.8 GHz. It supports dual SIMs. It has a dual rear camera setup featuring a 13 mega-pixel (f/2.2 aperture) primary sensor and a 2 mega-pixel secondary sensor with support of an LED flash and PDAF. On the front panel, It sports a 16 mega-pixel (f/2.0 aperture) selfie camera with face detection, HDR and panorama. Front camera is functioned with AI beauty features and Face unlock facility.
Vivo Z1i runs on Funtouch OS 4.0 based android 8.1 Oreo. It packs a 6.26-inches Full HD+ IPS LCD display with 19:9 aspect ratio, 2280 x 1080 pixels screen resolution, 403 ppi density and 90% screen-to-body ratio. Company introduce only single memory variant of the smartphone 4GB RAM coupled with 128GB inbuilt memory. Internal storage can be expanded up to 256GB with the help of using microSD cards.
The Vivo Z1i is fueled by a 3260 mAH battery. It measures 154.81 x 75.03 x 7.89 mm in term of dimensions and weighs at 149.3 gm. The connectivity feature includes 4G VoLTE, Wi-FI 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB, and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. It has Fingerprint sensor at rear side of the phone.
Vivo Z1i price in China is set at CNY 1,898 (approx Rs. 19,590) for 4GB/128GB memory variant. It comes in Black, Red and Gold colour options. Handset will go on sale from 7th July in China. Pre-orders are available for the same through Vivo Online Store. Company has not announced official date for launch in India.
