Xiaomi launched successor of it’s flagship phablet Mi Max today with a huge battery of 5300 mAH priced at Rs.16999. The new smartphone is named as Mi Max 2. Just like the previous installment, it is also a 6.44 inch Full HD display smartphone but with lots of improvements in design, power and performance. Chinese smartphone company today in a live launch event on 18th July, 2017 announced it and cleared that Mi Max 2 will be available both online and offline channels in India.

Talking about the features of Xiaomi Mi Max 2, the smartphone is powered with newer version of Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset clubbed with a RAM of 4GB. Internal storage is fixed at 64GB only. However, 128GB variant of the device is expected to release in fewer weeks. Coming to the cameras, company did a commendable job by putting Sony IMX386 sensor in the rear camera of 12 mega-pixel that promises to click best pictures in very low lights as well.

Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has round edges in the all directions. Curvy design is advantage while holding the device as curves provides a grip. Main attraction of the device is it’s huge battery of 5300 mAH and it supports quick charge version 3.0 feature (1% to 68% charge in one hour). Smartphone also includes stereo speakers for better immersion. Mi Max 2 runs on android Nougat version 7.1.1 with MiUI 8 (very soon will be updated with MIUI 9).

Apart from that, customers of Xiaomi Mi Max – 2 will get 100 GB of jio 4G data on a recharge of Rs.309 (100 GB will split into a total of 10 recharges) valid till 31st May, 2018. Max 2 is priced at Rs.16999 and will be available to purchase from online channels (Flipkart, Amazon, PayTm and Tatacliq, Mi.com) and offline channels from 20th July, 2017.
