China’s mobile maker, Xiaomi is ready to launch its next flagship smartphone, Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S, which is reported to have re-positioned the front camera. Some latest leaks suggests that front camera is shifted to bottom because the upper front is completely bezel-free. Next Mi flagship is scheduled to release on 27th March in home market.
Recent leaked live images of Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S shows various external features of the device. A Weibo account (now deleted) showed front and rear view of actual unit. The images confirm vertical dual camera setup just like the one we have seen in Apple iPhone X. Most importantly, when looked closely through front view of device, we were surprised that there is no selfie camera on the handset because upper front is completely bezel-less. Then, by deeply looking at the bottom, we could confirm that there are few sensors, which probably is not the fingerprint sensor because it is mounted on the back of phone.
Earlier leaks have also claimed that Mi Mix 2s might experiment with the position of front camera sensor. And, Yes, they have shifted front camera to the bottom front. Not only front camera, ambient light sensor and proximity sensors are also moved to the bottom. The account which leaked the live images of Mix 2s is not active now, we can assume that it might be deleted for leaking the authentic images. There is no notch available.
Apart from that, Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s is said to sport Snapdragon 845 processor paired with 8GB RAM. Company has also confirmed that it will support wireless charging. It is rumored to pack 6.01 FHD+ display with 2160 x 1080 pixels resolution and bezel-less screen. It is tipped to fueled up by a 4400mAH battery.
We do not have official confirmation on the prices yet. We will keep updating you with the latest developments regarding Mi Mix 2s.
